QLD inspection certificate for commercial vehicles
To be roadworthy, commercial vehicles in Queensland must have a Certificate of Inspection (COI). A Certificate of Inspection (COI) is a document that certifies that a commercial vehicle has been inspected and found to meet Queensland's safety standards. Commercial vehicles, which pose a higher risk on the road than passenger vehicles, require a COI; a COI ensures that commercial vehicles are safe to operate and contributes to the safety of other road users. COIs are valid for 12 months from the date of issue and must be renewed thereafter.
