CL Inspections

Sunshine Coast European Vehicle Centre is a well-established Approved Inspection Station. We conduct CL Inspections on limousines, taxis and rideshare services such as Uber, Ola and Didi. These vehicles must be inspected every 12 months to obtain a Certificate of Inspection (COI). Vehicles such as taxis, limousines and booked hire vehicles registered in Queensland require to have a periodic or programmed inspection to check minimum vehicle safety standards. A QLD inspection certificate is issued when the vehicle passes the inspection.

QLD inspection certificate for commercial vehicles

To be roadworthy, commercial vehicles in Queensland must have a Certificate of Inspection (COI). A Certificate of Inspection (COI) is a document that certifies that a commercial vehicle has been inspected and found to meet Queensland's safety standards. Commercial vehicles, which pose a higher risk on the road than passenger vehicles, require a COI; a COI ensures that commercial vehicles are safe to operate and contributes to the safety of other road users. COIs are valid for 12 months from the date of issue and must be renewed thereafter.
